Although light by being made of plastic with a steel tyre they are of an high quality, with the added bonus of having a longer axle as well as the 00 gauge one, so those can be used as a jig when building locomotive kits, a cheaper version of the Alan Gibson type let's say. Robert's communication was excellent, a recommended seller.

Does what it says in the tin
Useful to align boards, and helpful that you can get the right drill with it (option). One tip: The entry of the dowel isn't very tapered, so if you try to hammer it in as suggested, it will probably go everywhere. It is easier to use a G-Clamp to squeeze it in gently - and even easier if you can have an assistant to hold it straight as you do it.

LM324 single-supply quad op-amp
1 of 1 found this helpful LM324 Quad Op-Amp in a dual-in-line package. DIL package means it is easy to fit. LM324 is good for both single and dual supply rail systems - you can use it as a normal op-amp like a 741 (or four!), but it will also run on 5V only, and the inputs and outputs both work down to 0V which makes all sorts of control systems and sensor interfaces a lot easier.

Airfix pre-coloured Canopy Kit
This is the original Airfix version of the platform canopy kit now available from Dapol. The main differences from Dapol's are: It comes in a box rather than a bag; the moulds were newer when it was manufactured, so there is less flash; and it is in pre-coloured (green) plastic rather than the light grey of Dapol's. Of course, if you want it grey rather than green, then the Dapol one might be better! Compared with other canopies (eg. Peco, Hornby), this makes rather a small one unless you combine several kits (luckily it is also rather cheaper), but it has the merit of including all the roof support frames and girders unlike the rather bare ones from the other manufacturers. The only down-side is the rather fiddly construction of the roof window frames, which are not moulded as part of the roof as one would have expected.
