Sony VCT-60AV Tripod, A must for Profesional & Amature photos and videos !
I purchased this Sony VCT-60AV tripod for use with both my Digital Still and Sony Handycam cameras.
The Tripod itself is made from a good durable metal frame with a good quality plastic mechanism.
One good feature about this tripod that differes from many others is it's oil filled head which rotates and moves 360 degrees with a natural smooth motion whilst filming. This can be adjusted with the variable cogs on each side to stiffen or ease the amount of force needed to move the tripod head.
This model also features the Sony Remote control which an be used with a number of different sony Hanycam camcorders out there which have a 'A/V R' connection on them. The remote features allow you turn the camcorder On/Off, Activate/Deactivate Grid lines for video guidence, Take pictures, start/stop video recording and last but not least the 7 speed variable Zoom function which works a treat. There is also an overide switch which allows you to lock the zoom to slow speed for those with heavy hands.
All in all the tripod is available in 3 sizes this being the middle of the 3 and probably the most popular.
Price wise being a Sony product it is not cheap and may stand out compared to the cheaper alternatives out there in the market but this shouldnt overlook Sony's years and years of excellence in quality and design build of there products.
If your like me and prefere to stick to Sony when it comes to accessories then this is ideal for you.
Works with all standard thread cameras and camcorders.

Disadvantages:
- Pricey compared to rivals.
- Remote only compatible with certain Sony Camcorder Models.

Definatly a must for real Sony Home enthusiast and amature photographer. Shop around for best prices !

Decent solution for quick door bell
1 of 1 found this helpful This was a replacement door bell for an existing wireless one that was old and only a single chime unit where i needed output both upstairs and downstairs so this one was ideal as it has 2 output speakers that plug into any wall socket, the product arrived super fast, same day in fact ! The Bell itself is simple to set up and operate without any problems with response time and has good size battery in the bell button unit so should last a decent time, only snag is there are a great number of chimes to choose from but most of then sound like Chinese nursery melodys but there are a few that I was happy to choose in the end, that said you can have the same chime playing on both output speaker units or individual chimes playing aswell as individual volume levels on the outlets to.
Note the outlets do get warm on the surface I believe this must be normal as it is constantly powered on.
Overall is a good wireless doorbell available in single and double chime units I believe, they look good and also flash on all units so handy for hard of hearing and also to let the person at the door aknowledge the bell has rung, very easy to use and set-up, would recommend to buy.
