Some people actually like trackpoint and add it to other computers
Great board to harvest the trackpoint module and wire it up as a PS2 HID device for a custom keyboard or controller. It uses the more nicely documented 28-pin TPM chip instead of the almost unheard-of 32-pin TPM. Alonswartz on GitHub (you'll have to google it, can't link) has a good tutorial and pinouts for making one of these trackpoint units talk to a trinket pro micro, or you can do like me and just pick up a cheapie PS2 to USB converter, cut off the wires, and solder it in.

As described
Just installed it. Haven't finished rebuilding the engine yet, but it seems like it'll work fine.
