Genuine OEM Lenovo Erazer Y40-70 Y40-70AT-IFI L13M4P01 L13L4P01 Laptop Battery

Works great

Pros: Battery came pre-charged and fits perfectly. Cons: This is not really a complaint about the battery, it's about how Lenovo designed the Y40-70 laptop. The battery is internal so battery replacement requires removing the bottom cover of the laptop. The bottom cover is fastened by a bunch of tiny Phillips head screws so you'll need to be prepared with a small electronic/jeweler's screwdriver. Other: Since the battery came fully charged, it did not indicate that it was "charging" after I installed it. In order to make sure that the laptop's charging circuitry was not faulty (and the reason for the death of the original battery), I ran the new battery down half way by playing a long movie. It charged back up normally after being plugged in. Thumbs up.

Great bargain!

The refurbed 1st Gen Core i7 X1 Carbons are currently a great bargain at about 1/4 to 1/3 of their original price. I love the keyboard for its design, functionality and backlighting. It's light weight at 3 lbs and its 3rd Gen 2GHz Core i7 CPU keeps it more than competitive with current 5th & 6th Gen Core i5 ultrabooks which cost more. The only downsides are: no touch screen (if that's important to you) and the battery life is only about 2-3 hours with the WiFi on and the screen set to full brightness.
