This PS/2 mouse really saved my tail because I was setting up a computer and none of the USB ports would work at first. I needed to go old school and got it set up successfully using this mouse.

Looking for a great budget laser? Look no further. This is the one!
Like a lot of people, I have bought some of the $10 laser projectors on here. They work ok, but quality is somewhat lacking and they are rather limited in what they do.
I took a chance on this laser because it looked like it had a higher build quality and more features in it's description.
So let me tell you that I can say without a doubt, if you are looking for a budget green/red laser; this is the one! It's compact and very well made. The body seems to be a kind of sturdy plastic, but somehow still looks far better than those $10 aluminum lasers. It has a knob to control the brightness level of the green laser, and a knob to control motor speed. There is also a mode button to allow you to chose from the three modes. The power adapter is a higher quality. It has a bigger plug pin that the tiny fragile ones on the cheaper lasers. When I turned the laser on I was delighted to hear that the cooling fan was more powerful than the fans on the cheaper units. I could even feel a good airflow coming from it.
These are the modes. Press the button once and you get an orange light. This is an auto run mode, that will switch to sound activated when loud enough sound is heard.
Press the button again and you get a green light. This is sound activated mode only. So the laser will not do anything until sound is heard.
Press the button a final time and you get a red light. This is the auto run mode, which makes the laser run through it's various functions.
The various modes is where this laser shines. If you set it to auto mode, you will see it do the usual crossing pattern of the red and green laser. But wait a little while and it will alternate between red and green lasers. Then it will do fast or slow strobes and a stepping kind of effect. It's really awesome!
Another bonus, the laser remembers which mode it was in when you cut it off and turn it back on. That's a big help!
I really have nothing bad to say about this laser. It's a must buy at this price. There's no point going any cheaper than this when you get so much.
That's why it gets my five star recommendation!

stick with name brands
It worked for about two minutes. I put in the new batteries over and over and it still won't light up.
Typical junk. I'm disappointed.
