Content - great; book condition - fair
This review is of the seller, primarily. The book was not torn and did not have any scribbles inside. Still, it wasn’t ‘used-like new.’ The edges were worn and the covers were pulled back. Better packaging could have prevented that. The book had some gunk on both covers, too. I got that off with some rubbing alcohol. Once it was clean I was able to read this amazing labor of love by Chancellor Williams.
This book is a must have for black folks serious about community building and learning our history. Easily 6/5 stars.
