Skullcandy needs to change their plugs!
2 of 2 found this helpful Skullcandy makes a good product but their "Straight-in" plugs are NOT very durable. An L shaped plug on a set of headphones, (like the plugs on Sony headphones) lasts much longer, especially if, like me, you tend to wrap your headphones around your iPod after use. Luckily they're not terribly expensive and can be replaced cheaply.
