VIZIO S4251w-B4 5.1 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Satellite Speakers

Excellent Value

For the price this sound system is a perfect solution for those wanting a 5.1 surround sound to enhance the (often lacking) built-in speakers on their HDTV. We use these in our weekly & monthly vacation rentals. Unlike many soundbar systems, this one comes with the rear satellite speakers as well as the bluetooth subwoofer. We definitely recommended you stick with the 42" soundbar or longer as they use better components (sound). Only minor complaint is that it will seem the rear speakers are not on at all when you connect them, as if they are dead or not working. Be sure to play a Blu-ray, DVD or other source with confirmed 5.1 surround sound to test them and watch them suddenly come to life. When playing music you can force them using the SURROUND settings (on/off, volume and balance) but even then it is not always so easy to tell. Best aspect is the Bluetooth subwoofer (no wires front to back!) and also the ability for guests to stream their music wirelessly from any device of theirs, also via Bluetooth. We use all three inputs for regular HDTV viewing (OPTICAL), Blu-ray/DVD entertainment system (DIGITAL) and Bluetooth streaming (BLUETOOTH), each requiring separate input connections. This is the best and most simple solution to enhance built-in sound for the price, although true audiophiles will most likely want to opt for a more sophisticated sound system with separate front left, right and center speakers.
