It’s a nice little unit. Does what it says, connecting directly to My whole-house Sonos system both wirelessly and through an Ethernet cable. Yes, the Sonos app itself has been buggy for a while now, but Victrola has its own app, potentially bypassing current Sonos glitches. I’m heavily invested in the Sonos ecosystem, so this one was a no brainer. Nice cartridge, solid functionality, and an interesting take on a dust cover. Not an audiophile turntable, but not a bargain basement unit either.

Brilliant!
This is my second of these now discontinued, wonderful phones. As a person who grew up using traditional wired telephones with a generous sized handset, this Bluetooth device feels like home. It’s natural and easy to use, and the device is nicely weighted, sitting easily between the should and head (the way we used to use phones at work). The sound quality is exactly what one would expect of a wired telephone, with plenty of volume from the earpiece, and great intelligibility through the mouthpiece.
When this phone came out, I was working at sea 9 months per year, and had no need for a cellphone proper. In port, I would make Skype calls using an iPad and the POP handset, definitely eye-catching in bright green. When my green phone finally died (due to use error) I went on a search and found this new-in-box item. Thanks Ebay!
I wish the company hadn’t discontinued the design, but there are still some out there. It’s a sturdy little thing, so maybe a used item will measure up as nicely as this one.
