Speculative Fiction With Beautiful Illustrators
I really like this book. Picked up a copy from Ebay after meeting author at a Barnes and Noble signing.

Fantastic New Series
Dynamite doesn't do creator owned series very often, but when they do, it's really something different. A complex but absorbing starting point, Myopia is a steampunk-influenced/thriller comic book series set in a near future where people wear Siri type lenses for all forms of communication. The government steps in and uses these "leisure" devices to cover up a massive mining of the earth's core, violating the "Magnetic Energy Agreement." The art by Patrick Berkenkotter (Marvel Avengers, Teen Titans) is incredibly realistic. Combined with color by Mohan, some of these pages could be framed as paintings. Apparently before coming to Dynamite it was a Kickstarter supported by Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Jim Butcher and George R.R. Martin. I can't wait to see the rest of this series! Ebay is the last place you can pick up the first issue! Sold out in comic book stores!
