I have been using Fireline for many years for my beading projects. It is very strong and holds the weight of the seed beads.

Great Beginner's How-to Book.
Directions and diagrams are easy to understand. I started with a few basic stitches and I am already improvising with more elaborate designs. While I was doing some of the 1st time designs in the book, I was imagining so many other styles and materials to use in later pieces that I have started a notebook. Now all I have to do is to find the time! I do not recommend this book for someone already versed in bead stitching but for me, it was well worth the money. Some of my 1st designs sold in less than a week.
