2 years later - I can't take it anymore!
I installed these struts two years ago and it was a much needed update at the time because my stock struts were totally shot with well over 150,000 miles. At first, the ride felt somewhat nice. Much better than riding on old worn out struts. However, as time passed, I became so irritated with how much truck drives, as if every single bump in the road makes the entire truck rattle. All the road construction and giant bumps in the road makes these struts go "WHAM" really hard when they hit the bumps. I've spent too much money updating my truck and its suspension for it to feel so bad. I did install some nice oversize tires on my Silverado, Ironman 285/70/17 rather than the stock 265/70/17. THAT part of the truck is nice. Looks great and the tires have great grip. But I want a smooth stock quality ride again, so badly. I finally bought some stock height Monroe struts, as well as Motofab levelling kit. I haven't even installed them yet and I guarantee they will feel better than these God forsaken Rancho Quick Lift struts.
