Canon PS SD1400
I bought the 1400 because I was looking for a pocket camera, but didn't want to trade off pic quality and control. DPREVIEW.com had good coments for it and listed it as smallest of the canon sd's. My regular camera is a Pentax DSLR, but of course, portibility becomes an issue more and more regularly with that set-up. I've used the 1400 SD about a month now and am very happy with the photo quality and range of manual controls. Although small, it seems easy to operate even with my large hands, and the pic modes/ flash modes/ etc are fairly easy to access with little pratice. Also the metal body feels sturdy. Only concern is that it gets surprisingly warm in only a few minutes of use, so I wonder about the longevity of the battery...?

My favorite multi-tool
I used the Schrade Tough multi-tool for many years as an aircraft mechanic. It's very good quality, especially considering the price. I highly recommend. I like that the blades come from the sides of the handle, giving your hand a smooth handle grip when using the pliers/cutters. Also, your can get a fairly long reach with the blades by pulling the handles into a straight line --this is can be especially helpful when using the screwdrivers! I don't think any other multi-tool can do it this well.

Portable & powerfull
Very strong and sweat resistant! A smaller roll that fits easily in a cargo pocket. Perfect for your rape-kit.
