For literature and history aficionados, there are few better books that the complete and unabridged Leather-stocking tales. Cooper's style and eye for detail are magnificent, and have lasted the test of time. This collection of five novels under one cover is well over 1,000 pages, but is an absolute joy to read and revisit. Numerous other editions and printings are available (as individual stories and compilations), with a wide variance in prices. Comparison shopping is key to finding the best bang for the book. This version is highly recommended and presents incredible value.

Great stabber, but not a great slicer ...
This knife has one purpose ... to pierce. It's a shank ... nothing more, nothing less ... and makes for a very nasty EDC or back-up knife. It isn't razor sharp out of the box as a slicer, but the point is wicked and dangerous. The full tang ends in a curved tail which would serve well as an impact weapon. The sheath fits extremely securely, and the rotating belt clip is outstanding. $ for $, this is a great addition to one's kit, and won't break the bank.
