It works fine, but...
I use this cover daily but wish it had a better way to grip the cover to remove it. The indents are too small to easily grip. The handle also tapers making it too easy for fingers to slip off. A better “handle” would make this th perfect microwave cover.

Flawed design
While I was delighted to find a Lid that actually fit my odd-sized pan, the first time I used it the contents of the pot came to a vigorous boil and food particles from my soup were able to work their way up inside of the lid between the upper and lower sections. I have no idea how I will ever get the lid clean again unless I try to dissemble it.
Also, I wish that the outer sections of the lid were silicone instead of metal and I have no idea why the strange addition on wire is on the edge of the lid. I suspected that it might be there so one could hang the lid, but it does not seem sufficiently sturdy for that.
