Wow!

My CRF150 was hard to start. You actually had to leave the choke on for 10 minutes before you could ride it. And even then, you'd have to leave a little bit of choke on to keep it running. It went down the road spitting and sputtering. Never really ran smooth like I'd expect out of a Honda. I installed this kit in about 30 minutes. It was super easy to do. I'm AMAZED at the difference. It's a totally different bike. It starts on the first kick every time and it takes VERY little effort. I can lazily push down on the starter and it it comes to life. No rough running cold. Immediately purrs like a kitten. I was able to turn the idle way down and it runs like a swiss watch. After starting it, I can immediately start riding it. No spitting or sputtering. I can jerk the throttle right off idle and it just goes. It used to bog down. It has a noticeable power increase through all RPM ranges. The 150 isn't a monster bike, but at least it's now fun to ride. This is the best money I have spent on this bike. So happy with it now!

VERY pleasantly surprised!

I was skeptical of buying this carburetor. I thought no way can something this cheap actually work. But heck... it's $22... I'll take the chance. Visually... it looks just as nice as the factory carburetor. I thought the build quality was very good. I did have to borrow the old choke lever from the old carburetor because it was slightly different. My bike also had a couple modifications so I needed the jets out of my old carb. They fit just fine if you use your old float bowl. My bike starts on the first kick now with very little effort. It hums along at idle better than it ever has before. Throttle response is great. It runs perfectly at any RPM. I'm super happy with my purchase. I might buy a couple more just to keep them on the shelf for the future.
