EZ Grip (Desmond) Lens Repair Tool
This is a well made product that looks good but it does not work. The problem is the rubber is too hard. The hard rubber does not grip or have any adhesion against the lens ring it is inteneded to rotate. The tool just slips and turns without rotating the lens ring. If the rubber was softer then the tool would be useful and would work. Even if force is used to push on the tool to get enough grip this force just jams the lens ring and keeps it from turning. I run a professional repair shop and bought this tool to see if it would be useful. it is not useful and it does not work. I do not recommend this tool and I am sorry I bought it.

I Do Not Like Them
My opinion is the SKF shaft is about the same quality as a $75.00 shaft and it appears to me to have been made in China. My opinion is to not waste your money on them. I believe the overall quality is not high. They are very loose and so will be relatively easy to install. I do not believe they are worth a premium price. They bear no markings as to the country of origin and I am sure this is why they are not officially imported into the USA.
