STOP BEING CHEAP MASDAAM!!
So as a fence installer, we have many of these stretchers. It seems that in the past few years masdaam has decided to save a few pennies and use thinner metal to make these then they have in the past. In fact, compared to the one we have from 10 years ago, the metal is only half the thickness that it used to be. Which in turn means, as soon as you buy it you have to immediately modify it to work without the metal side that goes around the post or upright bending out comepletely straight. Especially if you have a stretch that is a bit tight. We still use them because ther are no oher options really available. But without strengthening that piece or adding a gusset to prevent it from bending back, this tool is almost useless for actual fence work. May work on small, loose stretches as it, but must modify for day to day use on installation.
