Superior Body for 4-Tec 2.0
To be completely honest, I actually like this body MORE than the stock Ford GT - Black body that came on my Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0. I wish that there had been a 3rd series of the 4-Tec 2.0 that was setup as an RTR package with these Corvette bodies. The Ford GT bodies are good, I won't say they aren't, the mustang body series is also good. The detail and craftsmanship of these Corvette bodies though is superior.

3900KV Slash Raptor Upgrade
2 of 2 found this helpful I recently installed this 3900KV brushless motor in my Slash Raptor and I've put several packs through it already. Here are my no-nonsense, honest facts about this motor; (keep in mind this is from a 9 year RC veteran that also owns and regularly operates 3 Modified RC10B4s, 1 Sick Modified Traxxas Rustler, 1 Modified Integy i10B/FTX Vantage and 1 Modified HPI Firestorm)
The motor is a keeper. Under reasonable gearing on both 2s and 3s, this motor moves my Slash Raptor like nobody's business. 2s is very peppy and 3s results in the "wow" factor as people behold this during street bashing. In track situations, 2s is plenty if you're using the castle creations 3800KV 4 pole gearing recommendations as a base. The motor's construction and cylinder/shaft are all very stout, of great quality and just as rugged as the Velineon in my Rustler. In fact, I've seen more cogging from the Castle motors in my stable than this - the delivery was about as smooth as you can ask for in a sensorless design. The 4mm plugs are beefy and fit tightly into the ESC wires.
I could go on, but I'm going to sum it up in this way; I own far more expensive motors than this, and I use those routinely. However, in a sensorless application - this motor is behind none of my others, in fact its ahead and next time I need another, I will beyond a shadow of a doubt - purchase more of these.

Helion Criterion Rear Tires 12mm Hex
I actually purchased these to use as direct bolt-on tires for a RC10B4.2 and I'm very glad that I did. The factory glue job was perfect and I've discovered these tires to be long lasting and with solid bite in the areas that I've run the B4.2. They are not flashy, but they have proven themselves to be a solid value and I'd purchase them all over again in a heartbeat.
