BT Smart Hub / BT Home Hub 6

BT Smart Hub (HH6) : Neat kit

I bought this to replace my BT Openreach Modem and my 802.11n router. This has cut down the number of 'boxes' by one, reduced the amount of spaghetti and also provides me with a stronger, faster wi-fi signal. The Smart Hub is not cheap (£130ish) if bought from BT or in a shop but inexpensive on eBay. The instructions assume that BT have installed it and you are a BT customer. I'm with Plusnet and found plenty of easy to follow instructions on the Plusnet forums and elsewhere on net. Similar probably applies for other providers. My only criticism is that the design of the feet means it can easily be knocked over with a gentle accidental touch - but this is easy to get round with careful positioning of the cables. A very good buy.
