Send This One To The Doctor- STAT!
3 of 5 found this helpful I love blood, I love guts, I love scary things.... yet I really hated Cabin Fever. Here's why- in a horror movie it is important to like the characters, otherwise you cheer when they die. And all these kids in this movie are really hard to like. The one character you almost like (the kid from Boy Meets World), screws up big time and you start to hate him.
There are so many loopholes in this movie it is hard to figure out what is going on. There aren't any plot-twists, however, as everything is spelled out for you in large red letters.
The rednecks aren't even scary, and usually rednecks are scary in these films. And what is the deal with the cops- do they know whats going on or don't they? You never really find out.
There's gore aplenty, which will gross you out a little at first- after a while you desensitize yourself and cheer for everyone to die.
Pass the beer.

Are The Lambs Still Calling For You, Clarice?
3 of 4 found this helpful Inspired loosely by Ed Gein, a Wisconsin murderer, Buffalo Bill skins his victims and wears their 'hides'. The character gives us the famous lines 'It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again'.
But Buffalo Bill is not the one to watch. Anthony Hopkins is Dr. Hannibal Lechter, a sociopathic genius, who agrees to help Agent Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) find Buffalo Bill.
Hopkins is a chilling Hannibal, the way he moves his eyes around, his body language- wow!
Jodie Foster is at her prime, her body is fantastic and her acting superb. Watch the look on her face when Hannibal whispers eerily 'Are the lambs still calling for you, Clarice?'
Silence Of The Lambs is a dark, creepy psychological thriller- with enough gore thrown in to satisfy any horror fan.
This is a must-see for horror fans. You will never look at a hand-truck the same way again. Or a ballpoint pen.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Will Scare You To Death
5 of 6 found this helpful This is the original, the scariest, the creepiest color horror movie ever made! I remember waiting in delicious anticipation for my mother to allow me to see this movie, and it scared the bejeezus out of me. I still have nightmares.
The remake is a mere attempt at recreating the terror felt with the original. Scariest scene-when the camera pans around the house. Best cult classic scene- "Git 'er Granpaw!". And remember, don't pick up any hitchhikers.
(As an aside, I found House of 10,000 Corpses by Rob Zombie to be more similar to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre than the Texas remake was to the original.)
