Excellent book for teaching a student to play flute.
I want exercises to help me learn to play low notes on a flute. This book does not have exercises in it for learning to better play low notes. Therefore it is of no help to me. I have other Rubank flute books, advanced and beginners. They are excellent books to prepare anyone to learn to play a flute well. However, exercises to help a flute player to better play low notes on a flute are not in the three Rubank Flute books.

Buy both of these interesting/challenging books: Alto Saxophone Solos for Worship Vols. 1 and 2.
As a music teacher, may I suggest that a saxophone student in Middle Studies will benefit greatly when learning to play these Solos for Worship. And, an advanced Saxophone student will DELIGHT in playing such technical models as these that challenge his/her technique. The piano accompaniment is magnificent!!!
I also bought the same two books for Clarinet. The Clarinet books are written for fingerings that best relate to a clarinet. The Saxophone books are written for fingerings that best relate to a saxophone. Brand Adams knows how to write for both Clarinet and for Saxophone. I have not purchased these two books for flute because I have worship solos that are written for flute. But saxophone and clarinet worship music of this quality is conspicuously missing!
