Great for DIY!

good product, low cutoff voltage 2.45v
It balances well and will terminate at 4.2v, it uses the equivalent to zener shunts so it will not wear the cells as much as a on/off protection would, it just passes the current. the overcurrent protection works really well, it can handle a dead short with low ESR cells. The only bad thing is that it will cutoff at 2.45v per cell which is rather low I would much prefer 2.7v. this should be listed on product page.
