Ultimate Classic Portrait Lens
Zeiss glass is pretty much the standard for microcontrast and "3D pop." The Planar 85mm is no exception. I'm getting great results on my Nikon D750. It's also much sharper wide open than the Planar 50mm 1.4. Corner sharpness isn't great wide open, but for portraits the character and rendering of the lens is superb. Stopped down, sharpness is pretty good across the frame. This is a manual focus lens so I'd recommend shooting on a tripod in live view if critical focus is important.

Laptop is very light and has good batter...
Laptop is very light and has good battery life. Build quality is solid despite the light weight and it doesn't wobble or flex. Screen brightness is average, but works very well when used inside. Speakers are OK, which is about as much as you can expect from a laptop this size. Performance is fine for general office work - I don't imagine anyone would buy this for gaming.

Best Nikon Landscape Prime Lens!
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this lens to replace the Nikon 16-35mm f4 VR zoom. This lens is much smaller and lighter which makes it ideal for travel and landscape shots. It's also a full two stops brighter than the zoom so I don't find myself missing the VR. While it doesn't go as wide, it's got much less distortion so I prefer the image quality. It takes 77mm screw in filters which is a major factor why I chose this over the Sigma Art 20mm 1.4. Overall couldn't be more satisfied with a wide angle prime!
