Does the trick

Having used levellers like this for the last 30 years, and this is by far the best value i have used. However, good value for doing the job on a budget, not as a long term investment. It has been ideal for the job that I bought it for (lifting a V8 engine in to a boat) and enabled me to angle the engine for easy maneuvering past obstacles. This has only been a one off job, and hopefully will not be repeated any time soon! the Leveller worked well, and was easy to use - i would recommend coating the main screw thread with a good quality spray grease before use though, as it does get stiff under load. If you were intending to use this unit every day for removal and refitting of engines in a commercial setting, it wont last long enough, but if like the majority of users, you intend to have it handy for an occasional DIY job, it should last a few years. All in all, not a bad bit of kit, and would recommend it to anyone else for similar use.

Brilliant shine, brilliant product

A fantastic product. I have used lots of rubbing compounds in the past, and they all vary in quality. Starbrite does exactly what it claims it should do, excellent for cutting back heavy oxidation on my 30 year old fibreglass boat, which looked like it had never had a good treatment in its life. It’s not instant or magical, but with patience and folllowing the simple instructions, it will bring the surface of your boat up shining like new It goes a long way too. One tub was enough to do most of the topsides of my boat, and in theory, I won’t need to do it again for another few years Every boat owner should have a tub of this in the tool box!
