This may work for some people.
I think the pre-shave really did not add any quality to my shave. If you use a good blade & shave soap and hydrate your clean skin with hot water than in my opinion the pre-shave is an unnecessary added step.
I also felt that it had too much menthol for me.

My New Favorite Brush
1 of 1 found this helpful This brush has now replaced my silver tip badger which had cost more than twice as much. The Semogue has more backbone which I like for shave soaps. There was no smell to the brush & it lost only a few hairs. After a week of use it has become much softer. The size of the brush & handle are perfect for me. I looked into other brands but glad I decided on this brand a& model.

Nice smelling
I like the fact it comes in glass bottle, however it needs a flow restricter as it pours out very fast
