Do not hatch chicks in this incubator
I kept it in its foam box while incubating, the temperature stayed very constant. The led lights are a waste of time, too much light leaked around the eggs not through it. I set my eggs to hatch and noticed the gap around the egg tray but thought it was too small for chicks to fit through. I was wrong and had 5 chicks slide down the gap and drowned in the humidity reservoir below. This is a huge design flaw that needs to be addressed. I still had another 20 eggs to hatch and had to put tea towels around all the edges, which interfered with the incubators thermometer and it started to heat too high, only around half the chicks survived, good at incubating but a terrible hatcher, very disappointed...

Good value for money!
4 of 4 found this helpful Good value for money, ignore all these bad reviews, if you want something exquisite, buy a $3000 glasshouse. Bought it to protect my succulents from frost and rain, I can fit a lot in there. Very easy for one person to assemble. The pvc did tear a little as I was burying it, I was able to sew it up, but be careful not to manipulate it too much. Will need tent pegs to anchor frame, I used six 300mm ones which worked well. Would also be good if cover had more ties to hold it to the frame as it’s difficult to attach more without damaging the pvc. Overall, great buy, does it’s job well!

Great price, easy to use, cures polish quickly
Much cheaper than most lamps and works just as well. Highly recommended!
