Lots of fun in a little package
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a lot of instrument for a reasonable place. Pick up a song book at and some felt picks and it's surprising what kind of sounds come out.
I love how light and portable it is.. just an all-round great companion instrument.

Back to basics
6 of 6 found this helpful In the past few years I've been extremely disappointed with horror movies, many of which try to use new camera techniques and special effects to do the storytelling and scaring for them. Eli Roth is a director born of the classic horror genre, influenced by some of the great horrors of the 70s and 80s (Alien, for example).
I purchased this movie after seeing Hostel and enjoying its squirm-inducing realism. Cabin Fever just blew me away, though: it's brilliant in its removal of a tangible, "human," stalker, allowing focus on the psychological dynamics of a bunch of kids who are isolated and scared.
This is also the first movie that actually had me hooked strongly enough to watch the cast/director commentaries (which are all pretty interesting if you enjoyed the movie) and I have to say that each of the characters was cast as perfectly as you could ask for: even the side characters slide flawlessly into their roles.
Basically, if you're at all interested in horror movies you should check out a Roth film, and I would say Cabin Fever has a more quirky and widespread appeal than Hostel. It's funny, clever, and if it doesn't make you squirm you might already be dead.

Fully functional flipper
This is a day one review. I was worried initially because out of the box, it gives a poor first impression - it feels cheap in your hand.
I'm just a beginner with balisong but was still surprised that I was able to do all the tricks I know with the baliyo, even rollovers. After a few hours I feel relatively adjusted to its weight distribution, and I like that my fingers don't get tired like they would with a full bali.
Honestly it's just fun to play with, and the light weight, built-in clips and non-threatening appearance mean there's no reason for this little friend to stay home.
Objectively I feel like the price may be a bit high for the materials, but I don't have a CN version to compare with.. and it doesn't really matter: a $30 balisong with this level of portability (and utility, too!) is a solid deal you won't find elsewhere.
