Why Pelicans are the only flashlight I use
2 of 2 found this helpful A little background info, I'm a licensed plumber and use my flashlight daily. Dozens of flashlight have been tried out and all fail sooner rather than later. Except for one. In 2000 I bought a yellow pelican saberlite 2000. This light has been abused to the extreme and after being dropped 25 feet, kicked, submerged, run over, used as a dog defender and as an emergency hammer it has not failed one single time! The only thing that I replaced besides a bulb or two was a badly scratched lens assembly, which was replaced at no cost. I was looking for something with a longer battery life so naturally I decided on the led version of my current light. Somethings don't change and with this light that's a good thing. There may be lights a little brighter or more compact but if you want a light that will never let you down this is it.
