Great alternative group yet to reach transcendence of Amercian Cheese, "IV" or Rockingham
Warning ; I'm a weird old fart so assess accordingly.
This CD's songs didn't do much for me.
American Cheese, "IV" and Rockingham on the other hand have song's I'll take to the grave.
These guys have their flaws and flaunt them as part of making their rockin music.
Got to admire that and their sense of humor.
Their refrains and harmonies are better than you'd expect.
Frame of reference ; other take to the grave CDs ; Green Day's American Idiot, a mix of Foreigner songs from 4-5 of their albums, JJ Grey & Mofro, Papa Mali, The Donnas, Keith Richards' Talk is Cheap, Todd Rundgren's Utopia Oops Wrong Planet, Offspring, The Ramones, Led Zep, Bonnie Raitt, The Persuasions.
Rock on dudes.
