Wonderful value
2 of 3 found this helpful Picture quality is excellent for the price after messing with the settings. The smart apps all work as expected, and there are a surprising amount of them! Sound is much better once Dolby Audio is switched off, as you can then increase the bass level.
The panel is IPS so black levels aren't perfect, but viewing angles are pretty wide and colour can be very vibrant.
For £224 it's beyond what I could have expected.

Great high quality chairs.
Great chairs, easy to fit together. I saw the same chairs in my local Range store for £120 for the pair, which is £40 more than I paid on ebay, for the exact same chairs. Excellent.

Excellent once it has been updated.
4 of 4 found this helpful The initial experience with the Lumia 550 is quite painful. Microsoft released the phone with outdated software and apps (from October 2015) that are almost unusable, with frequent crashes and many moment of lag.
However, once the software and apps have been updated to the latest versions the handset flies. For a phone that can be bought for around £35-£50 there is no better alternative out there.
Pros: Great screen for the price, cameras produce great images, W10M OS is fantastic once updated (version 10586.218).
Cons: Initial software experience is abysmal, with many issues that should never have been shipped with the phone (such as the People app crashing when attempting to add a new contact).
