About
I tend to not make eBay first port of call these days. It keeps getting worse for buyers because of the interface improvements and worse for sellers because of increased exposure to fraud.

Cheap but not cheerful
2 of 2 found this helpful Not sure if this is because the seller has overseas stock, but the text message auto-complete keeps being triggered back into Chinese. The keypad is either poor or defective and can't keep up with rapid input without missing letters, which is something I've not experienced on any other model of phone.
If you want a cheap, light handset with no camera but a good battery life just to make calls on this might suit you. I wouldn't advise buying on eBay as the cause of the SMS issues could be stock intended for other markets and you never know what you'll get.

Cheap and serviceable replacement part
The wiper assembly on Micras isn't well-designed. Third party replacements for the short linkage are either open and grip the metal nubs too loosely or are closed and grip too tightly, so they either wear and fall off from gravity or (as happened with my last one of this type) the plastic is likely to snap at some point from the impact of the motor. You can't order original parts without buying a whole assembly. An alternative is putting metal clips on an original part to stop it falling off when it wears, which I might try next time.
You're going to want silicone grease to minimise friction, plus adjustable pliers to get this fitted, particularly if you aren't taking the whole assembly out. It's fairly easy to end up bending the metal but it should bend back.

Mouse
Input devices are entirely down to personal preference. I find these ideal for an average adult male hand size. Like everything else they wear out, and as is the norm for mice the switches tend to go first.
