It was a very good phone in it's day, but that's not what I'm using these for now.
2 of 2 found this helpful I had one of these as a phone some years back. It worked great, was sturdy and the battery lasts seemingly forever. It's only problem was the lack of a slot for a memory card.
I have two now, but they aren't used as telephones.
The low price, large battery, robust build and stable WiFi and Bluetooth performance make these ideal for my current needs.
I use them primarily as wireless remote throttles at my model train club, and at the large shows we participate in during the year.
I share them with guests and children so they can enjoy operating trains on the layout independently.
I also use them to stream music from WiFi, via Bluetooth to the various stereos and other devices in the house. That leaves our phones and tablets free for other duties.
I give them 4 out of 5 stars because there's no way to install a memory card and load it with music.

These speakers surpised me.
I picked these up to complete a project for a friend.
He uses his garage for home brewing, as a cigar lounge, and as a showplace for his neon sign and railroadiana collections. Lit by an assortment of theater and concert lighting equipment. Great space, but the stereo sucked, LOL!
I had to build this guy a modest, two channel rig!
I set these in the garage, up on the shelves, against the wall, lamp-cord wires and Cambridge 540R. For a source I used my iPod with lossless files.
BAM! These guys sounded terrific! Fun and pleasant sound, decent mids, crispy highs but not at all harsh. Much better than I expected. Not talking high-end or even mid-fi, but perfect for the application. Much better than the $50 I paid. I can't say anything about imaging since they are 7 feet up, but I like them in this set-up.
I started listening with Coltrane's 'Blue Train'. Great sax and trombone sound! Next was Eiji Oue 'Suite from Candide' and I was impressed and happy. The kettle drum rolls were reasonable weighty. They also sounded pretty good for Beth Clayton 'Five Songs' on the same album.
They handled rock pretty well too when I cranked up Epica's 'Divine Conspiracy'.
Overall, great performance for the price.

Really good saute pan, it gets a lot of use.
This 3qt saute pan is an essential cooking tool.
At $70 as a perfect condition D5 display model, no cover, but legit factory warrantee, it was an insta-buy! I bought it for my daughter's new apartment, but she chose to take my ancient 3 ply All-Clad because of it's slightly lighter weight and slightly higher sides. So I get to keep this new hotness pan.
