For the sake of history

Gameday took the football crown in 1997 with a brand new 3-d engine and innovative gameplay. Madden wouldn't catch up for another year.

Mediocre title from EA

It's a good game, but it is inferior to the Playstation 2 era of college games. I also owned 12 and it wasn't much better than 09.
