An invaluable asset for those who would walk more closely with the Lord.
A work of pastoral depth and insight into the soul that epitomises the church era in which it was written. For those who know the Lord, these daily readings are an invaluable aid to genuine spiritual growth in the twenty-first century, where so much that is presented as scriptural is superficial or worldly. Pastor Smith (1802-1862) served God through a period of moral decline in Britain and lived to see the start of the great revival of the latter half of the 19th century. He was the predecessor of Charles Haddon Spurgeon at New Park St Chapel. Written with deep grace-given experience and wisdom to build up the believer in faith and bring them to a closer walk with God. Honestly faces the depravities of the human soul and unreservedly ministers the all-forgiving grace and compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ, His love for His people and the certainty of their heavenly inheritance. A very personal read. The readings cover a whole year, mornings and evenings, and can be read year after year.

These are the best ear defenders I have used. The attenuation is high at 87-98 dB and the simple spring wire design allows you to adjust the width to suit your head as well as making the whole thing lightweight. Comfortable to wear for long periods. I recommend these.
