Technically works but really needs improvements
First off, the board does work but there are two things that prevent it from being usable in non-hackery things.
1. The onboard pot + the chip are really sensitive to small turns. The entire POT only turns 1 full turn and if you turn it too quickly the feedback gets confused and will jump up/down the entire range easily.
2. The output capacitor is too small which means it greatly drops up/down voltage with load. It's fairly stable at around 10-50mA. At 500mA the voltage jumps around quite a bit.
If you use this in a design I'd strongly suggest putting a decent sized cap across the output terminals.
That being said they do work and are otherwise stable (power up to the same voltage you left it at). Just check it out before hooking it up to a circuit.

Works, but one of them buzzes quite a bit
I bought 2. Both work under decent loads (1-2A) but one of them buzzes with more than 10mA of load on it. Clearly QA is lacking :-) but otherwise they're fine and easy to use.

Simple, good value, works well for my laptop.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought it to run my 19.5V laptop off of a 4S lifepo4 battery (13.2V). Works great. Laptop charges off it (so it must like the quality of the power).
Only complaint if any is that the terminals are too small for the rated power. But since I'm only running around 1A a good quality 16 gauge wire is more than adequate.
