Great Soldering Iron!
This soldering iron is intended for use with the Weller WES51 soldering station. There is a temperature sensor built into this iron. This system keeps the iron at the temperature you set with a knob on the control station. This provides a constant temperature at the tip, and gives terrific life to the tip and to the heating element. And of course, the correct temperature also makes soldering much easier. The tip also stays cleaner requiring much less cleaning. This all adds up to a soldering system that is a pleasure to use.

Faulty on arrival
One coupler was smashed and deformed during factory assembly rendering it unusable. I had a dickens of a time straightening the coupler spring and reassembling the coupler. Very crude construction.

Handrail details way too fragile
I would give it five stars except the fine detail handrails fell off during shipping. They are extremely fragile. The Locomotive itself runs great!
