Did what it was supposed to!
The original Netgear 1000 went belly-up so a replacement was needed. Plugged it in, pressed the bottom and one on a nearby bedroom and whallah - she works!

Modified it to work and look fine
Ok, I like the look but… I had to cut off the end that attaches normally because it was way too small a diameter for my exhaust. My fault, because I have a flex-fuel engine and apparently the exhaust is larger than the standard 3.6 liter engine has. Anyway, I took a wedge out of the piece I attached so I could crimp it to size on the exhaust and I used a hose clamp to attach it. Works and is positioned as if it were eom. Looks good. Hey, it’s cheap so I didn’t mind chopping it up to make it work.
