Too small for wood chips
This hose is not the full diameter. It uses an adapter to mate to the vacuum. For saw dust it is ok. For wood chips it is not. I had two jams in the first two minutes. When used for common dirt on the floor it is fine. Leaves jam it up too but not so often. My large tools do not fit the smaller diameter hose.

Perfect for template work
This size lead isn’t good for writing. It is too thin and will break easily. It has been used for template work for many decades. I use it for layout work using steel laser cut measuring template. Vertical use only.
