Highly useful
I chose this front sight for my Pre 64 Winchester model 70 featherweight in 308 Winchester caliber for two reasons. First was the needed height to bring my point of aim and point of impact to zero. Second was because of the bead color and diameter. I can see the flat white bead more clearly under various lighting conditions than either brass or silver beads. I have no problem placing all shots in the lungs of a deer out to 200 yards.

Fantastic sight
I own several of the H1 Micro sights, all have the 2 MOA dot. The battery life is fantastic, there is no worry about leaving it on and draining the battery because it lasts five years left on. I have used these sights on my Blaser R8 in 9.3X 62 for driven game in Europe, on my Ruger 22/45 suppressed, and on my Remington 870 SuperMag for Turkey. This sight fills all those roles superbly. It is also capable of accuracy well within the 2MOA dot size. From the Bench at 100 yards I have fired multiple sub MOA groups at 100 yards with the 9.3X62 and have taken boar and deer out to 200 yards.
