Well worth the price and user friendly!
7 of 8 found this helpful I love my Home Patrol 1 and just purchased version 2. While I haven't heard any phase 2 traffic as of yet, there is plenty to listen to. These are the easiest scanners to program and I've been into scanning for over 15 years. One of the many things I like about this radio is that it shows me what I'm hearing and I can get more info on the transmission and/or frequency by simply touching an arrow on the screen. The touchscreen itself is great and very simple to navigate. I love taking it with me on road trips or visiting cities because all I have to do is punch in where I'm at and I'm off. If your just getting started or just looking for a scanner that doesn't require an engineering degree, get a Home Patrol.

Scared me at first
When I hooked it up for the first time I couldn’t get a signal but after I got the correct voltage it was phenomenal!
