Great value and just what I. Needed
I had starting to repair a Pentax MG and was not sure I could complete it. So replacing it was the better decision.

The knife is used mostly for carving and the blade selection is one I am accustomed to.
Schrade knives have been a standard. Better steel than the Imperial knives I owned as a child. Probable not as good as a Buck. In my teens I owned Case small stockmans which were Carbon steel and could be sharpened to the point of shaving. For my purposes, the blades will take an edge and hold it. Ultimately it will disappear. So if I have to replace it, I don't beak the bank.
