Kerosene Heater - Great Purchase

We have just had an electric power cut and were off for 6 days. I had bought this heater just for this situation. I am so glad I did. There are so many safety warnings with this product. However when I was a child this was the type of heaters that were used for instant heat, as during the 1960’s there were very few homes with central heating, with most homes having open coal fires. If you are sensible and follow the instructions I feel there is no danger. On the question of fumes, there is a slight smell on igniting and again on extinguishing, but that is to be expected, and quickly disappears. After all a candle wick smells when blown out. If the heater is operated properly, there is no smell when lit. I also left a door or window slightly open when in use. I have been so glad of this heater during the power cuts and cold weather. I can recommend this product..
