Silence is Golden.
I'd heard that the best stuff to buy for my scratchy pots was the Servisol Super 10 and wow the recommendations I was given weren't wrong. This stuff is amazing, I'd tried a couple of other brands prior to this and a few of the pots on my mixer were still noisy, they were ok when any adjustment had been made and they were left to settle down, but moving them brought about crackling and popping. Not the sort of thing you want to hear coming from an expensive mixing desk. However, pulling the knobs off each offending pot followed by a liberal squirt of the Servisol Super 10 and them moving each potentiometer from all the way open to closed a few times and lo and behold each and every pot that had been treated (I shall attend to each one that hasn't once I've written this) was crackle free, not even a hint of any noise. This stuff is like a miracle cure and now silence is golden.

Balls to the old style of mouse.
I bought this particular product to use primarily with music recording software and I've found it much more comfortable to use than an old style mouse. The main reason for this is that the product itself remains stationary and the rolling ball takes the place of moving the mouse. Just this small design change speeds things up and with four programmable buttons makes this a game changer with regard to workflow. Yes, you may pay more than the purchase of a standard mouse, yes, it's very comfortable to use, yes, it helps my workflow, Yes, it looks fantastic and No I wouldn't go back to using a standard style mouse.

The Joy of Jim Dunlop 65
The Jim Dunlop 65 fretboard Lemon Oil cleaner is just the job for getting rid of dead skin which accumulates where the frets meet the fretboard, it's amazing just how mucky they can get. Not only that the Lemon oil does a great job conditioning the rich grain of the of the dark woods used on some fretboards. My fretboard was dry, I could tell as the wood had taken on a milky hazy look but as soon as the JD65 Lemon Oil was gently massaged into the grain and left to soak in for half an hour or so the milky look disappeared and I was left with deep dark rich looking grain. For anyone with a fretboard that hasn't got a lacquer finish I'd recommend you buy yourself a bottle of this, you won't be disappointed.
