Great value but perhaps a bit fragile ?
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great little light-weight tripod. It's exactly what I wanted to take on holiday as it packs away neatly into most camera bags and weighs very little.
I use a Canon EOS 5D and a 7D, both heavy cameras with battery grips and some fairly hefty lenses but it holds the camera nice and firmly for exposures of several seconds. Use a bit of common sense and use a time delay to cut down on camera shake as far as possible and you shouldn't be disappointed.
My only doubt is the plastic handle grip which is essential, I think, to easily manoeuvre the camera vertically, but it's made of plastic and feels a bit too lightweight. Time will tell how fragile it is. Also, there is a spirit level mounted on the shoe which is a sensible idea to ensure the camera is level but when the camera is mounted in the usual way, the spirit level runs in line with the lens, from front to back. It would be more useful if it sat from side to side allowing the camera to be easily adjusted to keep the horizon horizontal in the frame.

Great fun and educational for kids
A fun game for all the family. A simple idea with lots of educational value for kids and humour for all. Easy to understand - just write down words beginning with a given letter (selected by the throw of a dice) which relate to words or phrases on a set of cards. The game gives you a lettered dice, pad of paper to write your answers and cards with lists of words or phrases. OK, so you could create the game yourself with a bit of imagination, pens and paper but the pieces provided in the box seem well made, will last for quite some time and compared to other games, it's not bad value.

A fiddly job but well worth the money
I bought this battery to give my wife's Nokia 3 a bit more life as the old battery was taking an age to charge, would only charge to about 70% and was then losing power quite quickly. Before buying I had a look at a few Youtube videos to check out how difficult the job would be. It's a bit fiddly - not a simple 'out with the old, in with the new' operation. You need a hair dryer to soften the silicon type sealant around the back of the 'phone, a Stanley knife or razor blade to prize the back off and then a very small cross-head screwdriver to remove an inner plate before removing the old battery and fitting the new one. The new battery was already partially charged and it took about two hours to charge fully. Since then (about three weeks use), no problems - one working 'phone and one happy wife.
