Works as expected
This upgrade was from 2013 to 2018 versions of the maps.
On inserting the USB I was prompted to input the activation code and the display indicated that the upgrade would take 3 hours 5 minutes.
As the engine needs to be run during the upgrade I took a longer route (via paper map) and steady upgrade progress was maintained throughout, around 10 mins per 5% increment, and completed in just over 3 hours.
No issues on install and maps look okay but I have not used the Sat Nav for route planning yet.

Replacement for previous model
This was bought to replace the existing one on our 20 year old caravan which had given up the ghost. Retained the existing base but replaced the booster unit. Required some wiring changes to both shorten the lead from the aerial and replace the plugs as the new booster uses the screw on type of connector rather than the simple push on type.
We haven’t been away yet but there is a marked improvement in signal reception at home and can now pick up all freeview channels with good quality image.
I had considered an external aerial but this simplifies setting up the TV, just plug it in.

Lightweight Option
Easy to erect, thin material and I wouldn't recommend using in windy conditions but it provides reasonable shade. Bought for a European tour as I want something easy to erect in the shortest possible time and this fits the bill.
