Shoddy Manufacturing
These mugs are pressed glass: 2 sections welded together utilizing a very old process. The welds on these are uniformly poor. The 2 halves almost never fit together perfectly; the seams are almost always lopsided, with one half either ahead of or behind the other. And the welding material is often smeared around on the glass along the seams so it is not clear, as glass should be. Also, the bottoms are "cupped," so water collects when they are upside down. If you wash them in a dishwasher, when they come out they spill water. Altogether, not a great design, and very badly made.

Excellent Replacement
This is a perfect fit and an exact replacement for the original. Price was very good as was the shipping. My only nit-pick is that the seller advertised it as new. But one of the electrical connector screws was missing from inside, meaning someone may have had it out and worked with it before putting it back in the box. I had to find a replacement screw that fit, which was not easy. That's why I gave it 4, not 5 stars. Otherwise, no problems.

Great product, useless trap
2 of 2 found this helpful These blocks really kill mice fast. They are much too big for a little mouse's mouth so I cut them into smaller pieces. I put the equivalent of 2 blocks down in the basement under the kitchen and one in the kitchen, around the range and in places where they can come up from the basement. Within a week I had 3 dead mice. What I don't like is that you have to buy and pay for a cheap plastic trap you're supposed to use with the blocks. Forget about using it. The mice eat the blocks, period. So you're wasting money buying the trap --- but you have to buy it because it's part of the package. So that part is a rip-off. Nevertheless, it's the best mouse killer I know of - and I have tried a lot of them. I had to check the box marked good value because there are no other choices. I would say it could be a very good value if not for the plastic trap.
