Good value, does the job

I used this to fit an m.2 SSD to an ODROID HC-1 board (which obviously has an SATA connector.) The adapter has now been in use 24x7 for several weeks and seems very stable. Only really small niggles are a slight whine when the SSD is under load, and the fact that I had to swap the metal side brackets over to get a good fit in the ODROID case -- but both of these could easily be issues with the ODROID board. The adapter passes the SATA signalling straight through to the SSD, so your SSD must support that (but it should do if it has the B+M notches on the connector.) Advantage of that is TRIM commands can be passed through which helps with keeping SSD performance good with use.

Just works!

Seems to just work on any modern Linux (pl2303 module), and very good value. Had to jump through a few hoops on one machine running an ancient kernel (3.0.x) but can't imagine many people will be running kit that old :)
