Why switch from a proven winner?
My first Salton Mini-Grinder bought the farm after somewhere in the neighborhood of twenty-five years of use, maybe a little more. I bought this one based on that one's durability and ability to produce a perfect grind. It's a little shorter than the old one, but the same size and design grinder area, with the same blades. I'm hoping for another twenty-five years out of this one, and see no reason why it won't last as long. It's a great little grinder. I really like the simplicity, to which I attribute the durability.
