The Unicorn of Barrettes
5 of 5 found this helpful Sadly, it LOOKED like the unicorn of barrettes that I have been searching for--the "classic" tortoise-look 3" barrette which seems to have left this universe---and/but, because vendors do not give details such as the length, and why kind of clasp, this was not what I thought it was. I would recommend that vendors sacrifice one package and open it up and pull out a barrette, measure and post that info, show a side-view so that the customer can see if that is what they want.
Today I received a post that says they are 3", there are 6 in the package [for $27.98!!! which is pricey, but IF they were the grail of barrettes, I would spend that if they were what I want], and again, they sound and LOOK like more or less what I want [black plastic tops] which is okay] but I STILL cannot see what the clasp mechanism is and it is not described. I have looked, and looked and looked, but cannot get the details and apparently, this item is too cheap to warrant actually inspection by vendor and taking the few minutes it would take to truly describe. I give up.
